About Orbit
Orbit is an upcoming community café, hangout space and creative hub currently being developed in Port Talbot. The idea started with a simple goal: to create a welcoming place where people can meet friends, enjoy good food and drinks, play games, get creative and feel part of a community. While Orbit isn't open just yet, we're working hard behind the scenes to bring the project to life and create a space that feels warm, accessible and genuinely welcoming to everyone.
Orbit was founded by Ciaran, who wanted to create something that offered more than just a café. The vision is to build a space where people can feel comfortable being themselves, whether they're stopping by for a Moonshake, joining an event, playing a game or simply looking for somewhere to spend time with others. We're still at the beginning of the journey, but we're excited about what's ahead and can't wait to share more as Orbit gets closer to launch.
Our Goals
Charity
Orbit has always been about supporting people, not just serving coffee and snacks. As the project grows, we hope to donate a percentage of profits to local charities and develop initiatives that help young people, support wellbeing and strengthen the local community.
Games & Creativity
Fun is a big part of what Orbit is all about. From board games and arcade machines to art supplies and creative activities, we want to create a space where people can switch off, try something new and spend time together without breaking the bank.
Community
We want Orbit to become a place where people feel welcome, included and connected. Our goal is to create a relaxed environment where friendships can grow, people can discover new interests and everyone feels like they have somewhere they belong.
